YRH congratulate the Ontario government for the Broadband Program announcement in the 2021 Budget
Following the Ontario Budget 2021 announcement on March 24, 2021, YRH wants to congratulate the Ontario Government in their effort to add a massive $2.8 billion investment to improve broadband access across Ontario. This investment will reduce the gap between the well-connected urban regions in Ontario bringing high-speed Internet to many underserved Ontario communities.

To connect homes, businesses and communities to broadband — which COVID‑19 has demonstrated is a necessity, not a luxury — Ontario is investing $2.8 billion, bringing the Province’s total investment to nearly $4 billion over six years beginning 2019–20.
In 2021 and for years to come, it is time to act for all Ontario citizens from all regions to provide them with high-speed Internet – Fast and Reliable. This investment will insure a strong economic and social development across all regions and to all Ontario citizens.
